Donald, Firstly, to satisfy your curiosity, after you were "dispatched" I couldn't see your poor ruined body in the building. I assumed at the time that somebody had quickly dumped it outside. Seems that was an incorrect assumption. (It made for an interesting episode, and you got a quick revive saving you aps.) Wondering whether it's a bug or a new feature? "Legends of Darkness is a Player Killer group" the wiki page for your group states this. You therefor are a potential Pker and a self-confessed GKer, whom I have witnessed damaging equipment installed within Old Arkham. As a soldier it is my duty to defend not only the lives of innocent survivors, but also equipment residing there. Your policy conflicts with my beliefs, and the effect of "darkness" reduces the accuracy of weapons potentially needed to defend the denizens (living) within Olsd Arkham. Do you normally decide the status of a group based upon the actions of 1 person? I doubt it somehow. lepspirosis , My apologies for the delay in responding. After our chat in game I did check a few times for your response, then promptly got distracted watching scrubs. What was unusual about your PK is you simply invited me to recieve your bullets. No mention of my bounty on RG, no link to rapsheet, and no mention of my activities in your home here. Rather then judging all of ROAR by your actions, I took the time to look you guys up and your forum, so you can hardly say I am quick to judge As for Dark buildings, I RP Donald heavily (all my posts on ROAR forum are OOC btw) and he has a obsession with Darkness (which you'd surely know if you checked out our wiki). As such, he GK's Dark buildings only, I never touched a running generator in any buildings that are not Clubs, Banks or Cinemas. As for lighting them, you do gain a tactical bonus for them being lit, but so do the zombies. With my two survivor alts I frequently seek shelter in dark buildings, and my zombie alt doesnt bother checking dark buildings as its so ineffecient AP wise to try eating there. As I mentioned in game, I shall be moving on. I am actually the ad hoc medic/reviver of my group, and enough of us are down that I need to catch up with them. My trip and activities in Old Arkham were just to kill time until alts I had blocking Donald's movement moved out of the way. Old Arkham is one of the safest places I have seen in game recently, and its almost certainly due to the work of fine groups such as ROAR. Enjoy it while it lasts, because the next time we meet could very well be if my zombie comes this way looking for food Cheers, Donald

For the record, I won't be 'retaliating' against lep. Donald, I probably would have done the same thing myself. Here's why....
Destroying generators makes one a GKer - end of story. I do understand that it was tactically motivated Donald, but a new person coming into an area with an established survivor group actually in the room ought to be a little more respectful of existing defence strategies and not make ad hoc 'corrections' to things they see. That's just...polite.
That being said, I disagree with the practice as well because I think it's a waste of resources, but I'm not the only one playing the game. However, had you asked in-game if it was ok to trash the genny then someone could have explained why it was in its current state. Just an example, but should a building with an empty genny be attacked, the zeds will have to deal with the darkness during their attack. When the first survivor logs in, he can gas up the genny and clear the room, or bail if it's too infested. Either way, survivors wouldn't wake up dead.
If the 'culprit' is also a member of an admitted PK group then they may not even get the chance to ask if it's ok tho...
But then, that's just how I play the game...Donald, looking forward to seeing you or your zed(s) around the burb. Be sure to say hi between bites !

To each their own. I RP Donald heavily, he had a mental breakdown and is quite insane. Rather then spam up your boards with the backstory, I'll just leave my contact info for anyone interesting. On IRC I go by the names GusThomas/MagnarThomas/JackByrnes and frequent #rrf-ud on the NexusWar server. Otherwise hit me up in game if you see me Additionally, drop me a PM on barhah.com (Gus Thomas) or Brainstock (Jack Byrnes) For the record, i had no intent of "correcting" your groups practices. You are survivors, I am a PKer. We play different games in Malton. Only a fool would expect us to play the same

Got a question about an individual in that screenshot. Is murderhammer a reformed member of Bowring Blackwatch or a false tagger? RG has him killing a bunch of people during a single day.
I would ask Bowring Blackwatch if I knew how to contact them.

I think the only ways to contact them are either their Wiki page, but that may take longer than you'd like, or heading on down to Bowring PD and talking to them in game.

Yeah, they don't have a board anywhere, but we have been yakking about it in-game so maybe soon. I checked the gallery and it does indeed appear that he's been a bad boy. I'm gonna be helping out at the mall for the next couple days, but I'll ask them about it when I get back.
Like Megaduce said: if you're around the SE, check in at the PD. Look for Greye Mortand, akdov, femlafrog, Kooky McSpook, or Saul Solito (though he doesn't usually hang out in the PD). Those are the mucky-mucks I think but I have more contacts as well if you want em.

Just ran into Nevin McAvoy in Large Row PD. I knocked him down to 12 hp...effin RNG ! If someone wouldn't mind finishing him off I'd appreciate it. I already posted the Evidence Locker page link in-game and I stayed in the room (please PK me dude - I will hunt your clown ass down...) Lol Thx

A KOS, DORIS asshole, bastard, griefer.... blah blah ... and PKer Nevin McAvoy spotted in Large Row PD [17-95]. He's low on AP, wounded, a bit bored and probably drunk :) p.s: I'm not griefing Blackwatch, I was just looking for people with RG bounties, and it's their own fault that almost half of them is listed there :) p.s 2: I'm really not THAT dangerous :P But thanks :) p.s 3: I've just noticed your discussion - I don't think that destroying generators in dark buildings is an anti survivor action. It actually increases security (it helps PKers too, but it's not a real problem). I often destroy them on my pro-survivor alt. Dark buildings are really great safehouses in zombie infested areas - they're targeted last, since like everyone - zed players prefer to attack with full hit ratio. p.s 4: Nice to see an IceWM user here :)
